Do you like cool classroom posters? We do! One of the first things students (and parents) often notice about a classroom are the posters. These classroom posters with themes on innovation inspired by Nature have become very popular. Each one is designed to present an idea compelling enough that students can think about it over an entire semester or year.
(To see any poster in more detail, click on any of the thumbnail images to the right. And to return to this webpage, just click backspace)
The poster themes revolve around the natural world as a technological mentor for humankind, as a practical pathway to sustainability. The posters are supposed to make kids think – see the potential solutions from an angle maybe they haven’t considered before. Each poster also comes with additional materials for teachers, in the way of discussion prompts and/or activities that relate to the poster. That way, the posters can just sit on the wall, oozing their wisdom into the brains of students quietly day-by-day, or, teachers can actively incorporate them into curricula and classroom activities.
If you would like any of the posters for your own classroom, the print-ready file for each poster is available from this website. To help keep them affordable, print-ready poster files are set at $5 each (keep in mind, you will still need to print them). So, for example, if you want 3 different poster files, the cost would be $15. You can print as many posters from the files for your own use as you wish — just please don’t share the file with others.
The print-ready files will print a poster at the standard poster quality size of 2’x3′ at 300 dpi.
To order a print-ready poster file, use this link. In the notes box, make sure you tell us which poster(s) you want by its title (found beneath each thumbnail image) and an email address we can send it too. Keep in mind files may come by WeTransfer because the files are large.
We will send you the files as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that this is a manual system and it may take us up to two weeks to send them (though usually less time).
